Where was promised TVG High-Def telecast yesterday?

Bloodhorse.com announced TVG would finally switch to HD for 2012 Del Mar meet all the way back in in September 2011: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/ ... definition

And yet, when I tuned into TVG on DirecTV yesterday, the broadcast of Del Mar opening day racing was the same old 20'th century Standard Definition, rather than High Definition.

What happened?

Currently the HD is just for the in house paddock/simulcast show.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!

Thank you Mary.

Applause and kudos to Del Mar for broadcasting in High-Def in-house. I look forward to seeing it when I am lucky enough to attend the live races August 3-5.

Boos and hisses to TVG for continuing to broadcast in Standard-Def.

For a channel to be broadcast in high-def requires they have two channels on the cable or satellite, with is fairly hard to come by.
