happened to watch a documentary about enron and how they manipulated the california power cost. after that was figured out after the cost went way up, it then came back down but never even close to what it was before enron,,,just goes to show that the united states government is without a doubt the most corrupt in the world.

CK, tell us the story about when Thomas Edison was your apprentice and he accidentally spilled mead all over your patent application for the lightbulb! That one was a classic!

hahaha, I am wondering if the Pacific Terrace Hotel San Diego is a good place to stay if I am coming in town to go to the Del Mar races. Also heard good things about La Valencia Hotel and Hotel Del. I am from out of town, and am not sure what the good hotels in the area are. I would like to stay at one of the San Diego Resorts rather than the San Diego Discount Hotels, but I would like to know from some locals as to where the hot spots around town are for cool action. Any suggestions on where I should stay? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is a great place to stay and there are also a lot of other great places to stay in San Diego too! What are you into? Do you have Children? Are you looking for a full service hotel? If you give me an idea, I would be happy to give you several good ideas.

Hi Edward,

It sounds like you are a local and might be willing to help with lodging info.
Do you know anything about the Paradise Point Hotel or the Ivy Hotel San Diego ? We are in our thirties and are traveling without children and want to see as much of San Diego as we possibly can in 5 days.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Le

Ivy Hotel has closed. Now Hyatt's Adanz San Diego. They've kept the name Ivy for their nightclub.
I hate it when I don't forward chain letter and I die the next day!
